Bangkok Parks and Gardens: Further picture of Lumpini ParkBangkok may be a modern metropolis, but it is home to a good selection of local parks and green spaces. Each of the parks in Bangkok are quite unique and have something rather individual to offer, with some being home to museums, restaurants, sports facilities, playground areas and seasonal ceremonies.

Each May, crowds gather at Sanam Luang Park to watch the famous Royal Ploughing Ceremony, while for others, the year-round botanical interest within the vast King Rama IX Royal Park is especially appealing. Bangkok's main parks and gardens are listed here.
